With a decision likely coming soon, Shaedon Sharpe is visiting the Kentucky Wildcats for a second time since June, according to KSR’s Jack Pilgrim.
Sharpe originally took an official visit to Kentucky in June. He got a scholarship offer from the school in December of 2020.
This latest visit is likely an unofficial one, though Sharpe does have an official visit left he can use after canceling his Kansas visit.

The belief is Sharpe will make a decision in the coming weeks, though he is set to meet with NBA G-League officials on Thursday.
Kentucky still holds every Rivals FutureCast and 247 Sports Crystal Ball prediction, as it appears no college is a serious threat to pry him away from John Calipari.
It remains to be seen if the NBA G-League is a real threat after making an offer to Sharpe last week, though it does not appear they are thanks in large part to NIL allowing college players to be paid now, and we’re already seeing it make a major effect.
If this was a recruitment in years past, you have to think Kentucky would be in serious danger of losing the potential No. 1 overall recruit to the pros, as the G-League has recently poached big-name recruits like Jalen Green, Jon Kuminga and Jaden Hardy. Green and Hardy were at one time viewed as Kentucky leans, and Kuminga was another guy Calipari recruited.
If Sharpe picks Kentucky, he’ll be the first recruit ranked No. 1 overall by one recruiting service since Skal Labissiere to rock Kentucky blue. Sharpe is No. 1 at On3 and Rivals, while ESPN and 247 Sports have him ranked No. 6. He’d also be the first Kentucky pledge since Nerlens Noel that was No. 1 in multiple recruiting rankings.
Time for Calipari to finish this one off.
