Wednesday Headlines: Volleyball National Title Banner Edition

Plus an all-access look at the Cats’ historic season through the words of their legendary senior class.

It’s almost time to hang a banner in Lexington.

The national champion University of Kentucky Wildcats volleyball program will be hanging its 2020 National Title Banner at Memorial Coliseum on Friday, Sept. 3 when the team holds its home opener against Northern Iowa.

The banner drop will take place before the match begins at 7:30 p.m. ET, so fans are encouraged to arrive early and be in their seats by 7:20 p.m. ET to ensure they get the best chance to see the unveiling.

Tickets for the match can be purchased through the UK Ticket Office.

Anytime a championship banner can be hung in Lexington, it’s a good day, so head out to Memorial Coliseum on Sept. 3 to recognize these athletes for their great achievement.

Also, be sure to check out this behind-the-scenes look at the Wildcats’ journey for a banner.
