Finally, we know when Big Blue Madness is taking place.

After last year’s watered-down version of the event due to COVID-19, the 2021 edition of Big Blue Madness will take place Oct. 15th in Rupp Arena at 7 pm ET, the school announced Friday.

Following that, the annual Blue-White Game is scheduled for Oct. 22nd in Rupp Arena at 7 pm.

The school has also announced it plans to operate venues at full capacity this season, including at Big Blue Madness and the Blue-White Game.

Tickets to Big Blue Madness will be free again this year but there will be no in-person public distribution at Memorial Coliseum due to health and safety guidelines. Ticket distribution details will be announced later.

Ticket information for the Blue-White Game, the men’s intrasquad scrimmage, will also be announced later.

As always, Big Blue Madness features introductions of both the Kentucky Wildcats men’s and women’s basketball teams, practice drills, videos and more. Both teams are projected top-15 teams heading into the 2021-22 college basketball season.

This will be the 16th time Madness has been held in Rupp Arena. Last year’s event took place in Memorial Coliseum as a TV-only event for fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
