Madden 22 rankings are out, and with the preseason still in action, the ultra-popular video game is drawing attention for their view on many players. For former Wildcats, 18 were given a number placed to their skill set.
The No. 1 former Wildcat is Green Bay Packers star linebacker Za’Darius Smith. Smith has become a full-blown superstar these past two seasons, topping 12 sacks in both. Now a two-time Pro Bowler, Smith could be set for the best season of his career.
Sadly, Smith didn’t quite reach 90 but was given an 89, the highest of any former Wildcat. Second on that list is defensive end Josh Allen, who was given an 82.
The 6-foot-5 former top-10 pick is now entering his third season in the NFL. He was a Pro Bowler as a rookie but was limited to just eight games this past season. In those seven starts, he struggled.
That’s a similar story for many Cats though as Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Bud Dupree came in as the third-ranked former Kentucky player despite coming off a season-ending injury. He was given an 81.
Danny Trevathan and Randall Cobb were other familiar names on the list, both coming in at a 79. Those were the top five with the rest of the list available here.
