A decision date has been set for Ryan Baer, as the 4-star offensive lineman is announcing his commitment August 5th, he revealed today on Twitter.
Decision is made. Announcing my commitment August 5th, for my moms birthday!

Once thought to be the favorite in this recruitment, it appears Kentucky is on the verge of missing out on Baer, who is now trending toward the Pittsburgh Panthers.
After Michigan State appeared to be taking the lead, Pitt has now received five-straight predictions at 247 Sports and four more at Rivals, including one from Cats Illustrated manager Justin Rowland.
Weighing in at 6-foot-8 and 331 pounds, Baer hails from East Lake (OH) and is as the 31st-best offensive tackle and 10th-ranked prospect in Ohio, according to Rivals.
The good news is even if the Cats miss on Baer, they still hold commitments from fellow 4-star offensive tackles Kiyaunta Goodwin and Grant Bingham, so it’s not like Baer is a must-have at this stage.
Still, this is a guy Kentucky has really wanted but appears set to miss out on.
