With football season coming soon, it was time for a special edition of the Bleav in Kentucky podcast with Vinny Hardy.
This week, former Kentucky QB Freddie Maggard joined the show to discuss what hopes to be a special season for the football Cats.
As you may know, Maggard was quarterback at Kentucky from 1988-91 and threw for 2,566 yards under Jerry Claiborne and Bill Curry.
After football, Maggard was member of the Army National Guard for 13 years before his retirement in 2015. Since then, he’s worked as a football analyst for JMI Sports and Kentucky Sports Radio.
Among the topics the guys discussed include:
- Maggard’s time as QB1.
- What Will Levis brings to the table.
- Which defenses could pose the most problems for Kentucky’s the new-look offense.
- What does Kentucky need to do to get it rolling and keep it rolling?
- And more!
