A new scholarship offer is out in the Class of 2022, and it’s a big one.
Nigerian-born Adem Bona, who will make his official visit to Kentucky on August 28th, has secured an offer from John Calipari. Tipton Edits broke the news first.
Kentucky has offered 2022 big man Adem Bona, per source.

The initial belief was Bona would get his offer once he visited Kentucky, but Calipari clearly thought it was time to offer the 6-foot-10 big man out of Prolific Prep in California. Since news of the visit broke, Kentucky has picked up two Rivals FutureCast predictions. There are currently no 247 Crystal Ball predictions.
Bona is currently ranked as the second-best center and seventh-overall prospect by 247 Sports. UCLA, Kansas, Missouri, Notre Dame and USC are among the schools who’ve also shown interest.
Kentucky has yet to add anyone to their 2022 class after landing Skyy Clark in October of 2020, and the frontcourt will likely be an area of need with Oscar Tshiebwe, Keion Brooks and Daimion Collins possibly going pro after next season.
Check out some highlights of Bona in action.
