The Kentucky Wildcats basketball team will host a “Player’s First Fan Fest” at the end of August, it was announced Monday on ESPN’s Jordan Schultz’s Instagram Live.
The event will be August 29 at 11:30 am ET at Rupp Arena.
The event will be similar to Big Blue Madness, featuring a 3-point contest, slam dunk contest, and a skills competition. The entire team will be participating.
Kellan Grady, Keion Brooks, TyTy Washington, and Davion Mintz will be participating in the 3-point contest.
Lance Ware, Bryce Hopkins, and Sahvir Wheeler will participate in the skills showcase.
There is no list of whom will be in the dunk contest, but opening odds for Jacob Toppin taking home the crown are 2/1.
Lance Ware and Keion Brooks will captain the open-run scrimmages.
The event is similar to Big Blue Madness, but will supposedly allow players to take advantage of the new NIL ruling and opportunities.
Tickets start as low as $13.50 and are available at PlayersFirstFanFest.com .
