Two of Kentucky’s targets in the class of 2022 will soon be taking visits to Kentucky.
Adem Bona and Nick Smith Jr. will be taking official visits to Kentucky over the next couple weeks.
Bona talked to Rivals about his upcoming visit on Aug. 28 and had some positive things to say about the Cats.
“I have been in contact with them for a while, so I am building a great relationship with the coaches and the coaching staff. They have a great history and send a lot of players to the pros, and they have winning ways. They have great energy around them, the fans, the coaches.”
The #27 prospect nationally (according to Rivals) is coming off an impressive performance at the NBPA Top 100 camp, where he showed his defensive abilities and the strong motor that have made him an appealing prospect, particularly for Kentucky, Kansas, USC, and UCLA, the teams that are recruiting him the hardest.
“I am looking at programs that can develop me a lot, develop my offensive skills and make me the best player that I can be.” Bona told Rivals. “I want to go to a school that feels like home, because I am already going to be a long way from home. I want to go where I will have a good relationship with the coaching staff and the players and the environment, somewhere I can feel comfortable and just go play basketball.”
Many think Bona will land a Kentucky offer on that visit at the end of the month.
Smith already has a Kentucky offer, and he’s planning a visit at the beginning of September, per Joe Tipton of On3 Recruits.
Kentucky will host 2022 four-star Nick Smith for an official visit the weekend of Sept. 2nd, he tells @On3Recruits.

The combo guard from Arkansas is planning to announce a decision in November, and is also considering Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, the NBL, and Overtime Elite.
Smith picked up a Kentucky offer after an impressive Peach Jam and getting him on campus will be great to boost their chances of landing the impressive guard.
Definitely two names to keep an eye on moving forward.
