Mark Stoops and the Kentucky Wildcats are looking to land one of their top priorities in the Class of 2022, and they just made the final cut.
Omari Kelly is currently a 4-star wide receiver and ranked as the No. 45 overall player at his position.
The 6-foot-1 receiver from Trussville, Alabama has now cut his list down to three. According to Jeffrey Lee of On3, Kelly is now down to Alabama, Auburn, and Kentucky.
Kelly is scheduled to make his final decision on August 19th as he told On3 he is ready to make a decision. “I’m ready,” Kelly told Lee. “It’s between Auburn, Kentucky and Alabama.”

As of right now, the belief is that Auburn is the favorite to land Kelly. The Cats offered Kelly back on August 13, 2020, a couple months before Auburn and Alabama extended offers.
One thing that is certain, it is hard to pull a top recruit for football out of the state of Alabama. However, Kentucky is closing that gap as they are now finding themselves as finalists for these players.
