The Kentucky Wildcats have lost one of their 2022 pledges.
On Sunday, Jeremiah Caldwell announced his decommitment from Kentucky.

Caldwell, hailing from Belleville High School in Michigan, is a 3-star athlete ranked 380th nationally by 247 Sports Composite. He was actually a 4-star recruit ranked 217th overall when he initially committed to the Wildcats back in January, but his stock has dropped since then.
The 6-2, 177-pound Caldwell is also the 11th-ranked recruit from Michigan, a state Kentucky has been making major inroads in since Steve Clinkscale arrived in Lexington. However, Clinkscale, who was the lead recruiter for Caldwell, left for Michigan back in May.
Among Caldwell’s listed offers are Tennessee, Iowa State, Michigan, Michigan State, Central Michigan and Toledo. He recently visited the Spartans before backing off his pledge.
