The Kentucky Wildcats will be hosting another multi-team event next season.
According to Jon Rothstein, Kentucky’s next MTE will include Ohio, Robert Morris and Mount St. Mary’s.

This will likely take place early in the regular season after Kentucky faces the Duke Blue Devils in the Champions Classic to tip off the 2021-22 campaign. It was also revealed this week that Kentucky will face the North Carolina Tar Heels in the CBS Sports Classic in December.
Ohio, who plays in the MAC, is 1-14 all-time vs. Kentucky, and the two schools haven’t played each other since 2005. The Bobcats are coming off a surprising NCAA Tournament run in which they upset No. 4 seeded Virginia in the Round of 64 before losing to Creighton the following round.
Leading scorer Jason Preston recently announced he’s staying in the NBA Draft, so the Bobcats will be without their best player from this past season when they travel to Rupp.
Mount St. Mary’s, hailing from the NEC, is 0-2 all-time vs. Kentucky, the most recent matchup coming in 2019-20. They went 12-11 last season but did win the NEC Tournament and played in the First Four before being knocked out by Texas Southern.
Robert Morris, 1-2 all-time vs. Kentucky, plays in the Horizon League and most recently fell to the Wildcats during the 2013-14 season.
