Sunday Headlines: Elijah Fisher Edition

A top 2023 guard received a Kentucky offer

Kentucky has offered another 2023 prospect, this time with it being the top-ranked shooting guard in the class.

Elijah Fisher, a 6’6, 195 pound shooting guard from Canada, is ranked as the #4 overall player in the class and the top shooting guard. He received a Kentucky offer over the weekend.

While Fisher is currently in the 2023 class, there’s a possibility of reclassification, according to Travis Branham of 247 Sports.

“For me there could be an option to reclassify but for right now I am trying to work on my game and get better,” he told Branham.

If he reclassifies, Fisher would be one of the top guards in 2022 as well, and could be part of an extremely talented group of prospects in 2022 that the Cats are targeting.

He told Branham he really likes the Kentucky program.

“I really like the (Kentucky) program,” Fisher said. “It’s a great program with a lot of history over there and they have a lot of players that go to the pros.”
