As training camps kick off around the NFL, Kelvin Joseph is going through his first week of training camp with the Dallas Cowboys. As the team tries to revamp their secondary after a tough year for that unit, they drafted Joseph in the second-round in hopes he will bring some energy in his first season.
Early reports indicate that Joseph has impressed early as he shows the playmaking ability Kentucky Wildcats fans got use to seeing through eight games last season. Joseph might have been a first-round draft selection if there wasn't some question marks going around teams about his off-field reputation.
Joseph recently took the time to join 105.3 The Fan in Dallas and talked about a recent tweet he released earlier this month.
Never was dismissed stop putting that on the internet and tv just made some better decisions #ykdavibe

Here is what he had to say in why he sent that tweet out:
“One time on ESPN I saw someone talking about I was dismissed from LSU and stuff like that, and that wasn’t true. I never was dismissed, never was kicked off a team. (Kentucky) was just a better opportunity for me and my family. I just chose to go elsewhere so I can showcase my ability and do the best I do.”
Joseph followed up by saying this:
“I feel like it’s the best decision I’ve made in my whole life.”
Leaving LSU couldn’t have been an easy decision especially after growing up in Baton Rouge as well. Coming to Kentucky was obviously the right choice for his career as he became a top 50 pick in the draft.
