2022 Kentucky Wildcats commitment, Skyy Clark, has undergone successful surgery on his torn ACL that he suffered earlier in the summer, he announced via his Twitter.

“Surgery went successful today! Turns out I didn’t need any work on my meniscus just the ACL. Doc said my bones, ligaments, cartilage, etc. look perfect. Also said the way I'm gonna attack rehab that it will be stronger than ever,” Clark wrote.

“Now the real work begins! Thank u 4 all the prayers.”

It’s a minor setback for Clark, who is set to attend Montverde Academy this coming basketball season for his senior year. Clark stated previously that his injury would not affect his decision to attend Montverde or Kentucky next year.

So far, Clark is the lone 2022 commit, but with Kentucky coaches scouring the Nike EYBL circuit and Peach Jam over the past few weeks, Clark could be getting some company in the backcourt very soon.
