The NBA Draft withdrawal deadline has come and gone making the college basketball landscape a lot clearer.

With roster’s starting to get finalized, Andy Katz updated his Power 36 rankings for the upcoming season.

The UCLA Bruins came in at No. 1 overall after former Wildcat Johnny Juzang decided to return making them a Final Four favorite.

Not surprisingly, the Kentucky Wildcats were the first SEC team on the list as they came in at No. 6 overall.

Katz added, “John Calipari loaded up with stud transfers at nearly every position.”

The other SEC teams to make the top 36 include the LSU Tigers (16), Arkansas Razorbacks (23), Auburn Tigers (25), and Mississippi State Bulldogs (33).

As Kentucky’s non-conference schedule continues to get filled out, the fans are going to be seeing the Cats face off with several top teams this season.

The non-conference opponents that we know Kentucky will be playing include the Kansas Jayhawks (4), Michigan Wolverines (9), Ohio State Buckeyes (12), and Duke Blue Devils (15).

The entire top 10 according to Andy Katz includes:

1. UCLA Bruins

2. Gonzaga Bulldogs

3. Texas Longhorns

4. Kansas Jayhawks

5. Villanova Wildcats

6. Kentucky Wildcats

7. Purdue Boilermakers

8. Oregon Ducks
