The college football season is right around the corner and the Kentucky Wildcats are looking to have a big year.
This was a big offseason for the Cats, bringing in Liam Coen to be the new offensive coordinator, as they look to have a more high-powered offense.
As we all know, Coen came from the Los Angeles Rams where he learned under head coach Sean McVay, one of the best offensive minds in the league.
This week is SEC Media Days and Joe Tessitore of ESPN reached out to McVay to get “the skinny” on Coen and McVay had nothing but positives to say about Kentucky’s new OC.
“Spent the last three seasons as one of my most trusted coaches who I heavily relied on behind the scenes.” He continued, “strong communication skills (and) great ability to connect with the guys.”
I know the BBN is excited to see the offense take the field this season and it sounds like Mark Stoops made a great hire this offseason by bringing in Coen.
You can check out everything Sean McVay told Joe Tessitore below.
