As the summer recruiting period rolls on, one of the Kentucky Wildcats’ top pass-catching targets is close to making his college decision.

Jeremiah Dillon is a three-star wide receiver out of Mississippi ranked 26th in the state and 142nd among Class of 2022 wide receiver prospects via 247 Sports.

Standing at 6-2 and 175 pounds, Dillon he processes the size you're looking for in a college-level receiver. He plays for Tylertown High School where he is part of a team that won the state championship in Mississippi. He currently holds offers from 13 different schools, with three of them being from a Power 5 conference.

Fresh off an unofficial visit to Kentucky last week, Dillon picked up an offer from the University of Kentucky and Mark Stoops. Kentucky joins the likes of Virginia, Ole Miss, Houston, Southern Miss, and others to extend an offer.

While this visit was an unofficial one, an official visit is expected for Dillon to Kentucky in the future. With a decision looming, it appears Kentucky and Ole Miss are the two teams to beat for his services.

I was able to do a Q&A with Mr. Dillon a few days ago which went as follows.

Q: How did your visit to UK go, and what was the coaches message to you?

A: The visit went GREAT!!! Their message to me was use football, don’t let football use you. Take advantage of this great opportunity!

Q: Do you have a list of favorite schools at this time?

A: I actually have a top five of Kentucky, Ole Miss, Virginia, Memphis, and Southern Miss.

Q: Do you have a timetable of when you want to make a decision?

A: I was thinking I will announce my decision July 10th.

Q: What stood out about UK to you, and where would it rank against other visits?

A: The people and the atmosphere is what stood out to me. The visit was top three for sure.
