Legendary Kentucky QB Tim Couch is on the ballot for the 2022 College Football Hall of Fame class.
Couch is one of 78 players and seven coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 99 players and 33 coaches from the divisional ranks.
The announcement of the 2022 College Football Hall of Fame Class will be made in early 2022, with specific details to be announced in the future.
Couch, of course, is a household name in the Bluegrass as one of the best, if not the best, quarterback to play at the University of Kentucky. A former SEC Player of the Year and First Team All-American, Couch was the #1 pick in the 1999 NFL Draft.
Couch, over his time in Lexington, completed 795 passes on 1,184 attempts for 8,435 yards and 74 touchdowns.
We’re all big Tim Couch fans around here, so we’re certainly rooting for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, where he belongs.
