Football season is inching closer and closer as we head into the second week of June.
The Kentucky Wildcats are poised to have a solid year once again, and oddsmakers are starting to give the Cats some respect as well.
Matt Jones of KSR shared a picture of the over/under lines for this upcoming season in regards to conference wins. The line has been set for the Cats at 4.5.

Looking at this line, they are expecting that this team will be competitive throughout their entire conference schedule. But where will they end up?
The schedule sets up for three games that fans should be confident that this squad can pull off the win. Those games are at South Carolina, at Vandy, and vs. Tennessee.
Then there are the toss-up games which are vs. Missouri, vs. Florida, vs. LSU, and @ Mississippi State. All of these could very well become winnable games, especially since several will be in Lexington.
Should fans expect they will sweep these games? No, but it would be reasonable to think they should take at least two of the four.
That leaves the Georgia game as the one game, I think everyone expects to be a loss. The Cats could for sure keep it close, but there is still a big difference in talent between both programs. Especially since Georgia is seen as a title favorite for this coming season.
If the Cats can pull off the over on this win total this would be the second time in Stoops tenure that his team has a winning record in conference play. Even if they win four games and finish .500 in conference, it would be the fifth time Stoops has made that mark in his tenure.
