With Kentucky having one of the worst seasons in program history last season, there’s only room to grow up.
However, the Kentucky Wildcats basketball program could be due for a big leap up, and CBS seems to agree.
CBS listed the teams who improved the most in 2021 recruiting and Kentucky tops the list.
The Cats have, of course, retooled their roster, bringing in freshmen like Daimion Collins, TyTy Washington, and Bryce Hopkins, all of whom have the potential to be contributors from day one.
But with the rise of the transfer portal, the Cats really revamped their roster through the transfer portal, bringing in Kellan Grady from Davidson, CJ Frederick from Iowa, and Oscar Tshiebwe from West Virginia.
That’s not to mention returners like Keion Brooks, Dontaie Allen, Jacob Toppin, and Lance Ware.
The Wildcats have made some big strides this offseason. Now it’s time to see the difference on the court.
