UPDATE
Pat Forde reports that Jon Scheyer will be the next head coach at Duke following Coach K’s retirement.
Source confirms: "It's going to be Scheyer" as the next coach at Duke after Mike Krzyzewski's farewell tour through 2021-22.

Duke Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski will retire after the upcoming college basketball season, according to Stadium reporter Jeff Goodman.
Goodman adds that the leading candidate to replace Coach K will be Duke assistant coach Jon Scheyer.
However, I find it a little suspicious that this news comes out the same day that it was revealed Brad Stevens will step down as head coach of the Boston Celtics and become the team’s new president of basketball operations. Might that be just a one-year thing before he takes over at Duke next season?
Whatever the case may be, college basketball is about to lose arguably the best coach it has ever had.
Oh, and Kentucky faces Duke in the Champions Classic next season.
BREAKING: Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski has decided to retire after this coming season, multiple sources told @stadium. Official announcement expected soon.

The leading candidate to replace K is assistant and former Duke player Jon Scheyer.
