A new offer is out in the Class of 2023 for the Kentucky Wildcats.
According to Jake Weingarten, Kentucky has extended a scholarship offer to five-star power forward Jalen Lewis, who has since confirmed the news.
Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Kentucky! Had a great talk with Coach Calipari and the rest of the staff! #GoWildcats pic.twitter.com/wWLf2FrpAs

Already regarded as one of the nation’s best frontcourt players in his class, the 6-9, 210-pound Lewis is ranked sixth overall by Rivals. He plays at Bishop O’Dowd High School in California.
Lewis already holds offers from the Kansas Jayhawks, USC Trojans, UCLA Bruins, Arizona State Sun Devils, and Arkansas Razorbacks among others. There are currently no Rivals FutureCast or 247 Crystal Ball predictions for where he’ll land.
Lewis joins Javonte “J.J.” Taylor as 2023 recruits to score offers from Kentucky this week.
Kentucky hasn’t had much luck recruiting California players as of late, but hopefully the revamped coaching staff can help ensure those struggles don’t continue.
In the meantime, check out some highlights of Lewis in action.
