As we draw closer and closer to Kentucky football season, it’s still difficult to sleep on the Kentucky men’s basketball team coming together in Lexington for the summer.
Several players have already arrived, as head coach John Calipari is pictured below with the parents and brother of Daimion Collins. Joining him in the next tweet are TyTy Washington’s parents as well as his uncle. All at Calipari’s house over the weekend.
Though Calipari didn’t get a picture with Kellan Grady, he is indeed in Lexington with fellow transfer Sahvir Wheeler arriving this week. As you’ll see below, Washington was working out yesterday over the holiday.

TyTy Washington was in the Joe Craft Center working out on May 31 this year.
John Calipari wanted a ‘normal’ offseason in 2021, looks like he’s getting one. pic.twitter.com/0EnlXOWMY8
This offseason is already off to a much better start than last season and should only head more in the right direction as the summer moves along. Lack of chemistry was what many believed to be a major issue within last year’s team and the lack of success they enjoyed in comparison to expectations.
If everything goes smoothly this summer and early fall, chemistry should be a strong suit of the Kentucky Wildcats heading into the season.

The reigning Eastern Conference Champions were sent packing in a first round sweep.
Can L.A. manage to pull ahead without the former Wildcat?
“But after listening to Calipari Friday, I’m convinced the coach is expecting him back.”
Massive blow for Philadelphia.
This is becoming rather insane.
Good to see former players standing up to the lunatic.
