The Kentucky Wildcats baseball team will be the No. 11 seed in the upcoming SEC Tournament. This comes following a wild 7-5 victory over No. 2 Vanderbilt on Saturday.
Coltyn Kessler drilled a three-run homer with Kentucky down to its final strike to earn a 7-5 win over the Commodores at Hawkins Field. The Wildcats, picked to finish last in the SEC in preseason polls, finished the regular season at 29-22 overall and 12-18 in conference play, good for 11th out of 14 spots in the league. Only the top 12 teams make the conference tournament.
Up next, Kentucky begins SEC Tournament play Tuesday vs. the No. 6 seed Florida Gators. First pitch is set for 10:30 am ET on the SEC Network. The radio call will be on the UK Sports Network.
