The Kentucky Wildcats picked up a massive commitment from 2021 point guard TyTy Washington on Wednesday night.
Washington joins Daimion Collins and Bryce Hopkins in Calipari’s 2021 recruiting class as the Cats look to bounce back in 2021-22.
On Thursday, Rivals updated their recruiting rankings of the 2021 class for the final time, and it saw Chet Holmgren remain at the top as the No. 1 overall player in the class.
Here is where the incoming Cats stand in the final rankings.
- TyTy Washington became Kentucky’s highest-ranked recruit, as he jumped up 21 spots to No. 11 overall and is listed as the No. 3 overall point guard.
- Daimion Collins is the next one on the list as he actually dropped 5 spots to No. 15 overall, but he moved up to the No. 4 overall power forward in the class.
- Bryce Hopkins also saw his ranking fall in the update as he dropped 7 spots to No. 35 overall and maintained his ranking as the No. 8 overall small forward.
The last remaining Kentucky target is Jaden Hardy who saw his ranking drop one spot to No. 3 overall as Duke commit Paolo Banchero took over the No. 2 spot. Hardy is set to make his college/professional decision on Saturday.
As for former Kentucky commit Nolan Hickman, he was also a big mover, as he jumped 19 spots to No. 20 overall.
