Another name that Kentucky reached out to in the transfer portal is nearing a decision, and it doesn’t look like Kentucky will be a hat on the table on the day of that commitment.
Adam Zagoria of Zags Blog tweeted out this afternoon that Syracuse Orange transfer Quincy Guerrier announced his top four list.

The schools remaining in contention include Illinois, Oregon, Memphis, and Arizona State.
Before committing to Syracuse back in 2018, Illinois and Oregon where also on his final list. They are once again right there hoping to secure his commitment the second time around.
Kentucky was one of the early schools to reach out to Guerrier, but it appears that it was nothing more than the staff kicking the tires to see interest.
With more positive buzz about the return of Keion Brooks to next season’s roster coming out, it seems highly unlikely that we would see the staff take a commitment from a frontcourt player at this point.
You can’t fault the staff for doing the due diligence to gauge interest between both parties, but I’m sure fans are much more excited for a junior year Keion than they would be for a transfer.
