While Kentucky is trying to fill the point guard position in the 2021 recruiting class, the Wildcats also have their eyes on a top point guard prospect in the 2022 class.
Jaden Bradley, a top 10 prospect in the 247 Sports Composite and one of the top point guards in the 2022 class, has long been a Kentucky target, and even though he was primarily being recruited by Joel Justus, he told 247 Sports’ Travis Branham that the Wildcats continue to be in the mix.
“Coach Joel Justus was the one who was hitting me up and started everything so since he left he has still been talking to me and I have been talking to the heads coach and other assistants. It’s a great program even though they didn’t have a great year last year. It is still one of the top programs.”
The 6’2” point guard is being recruited by Kentucky and North Carolina, among other schools and hasn’t set a decision date yet.
While we’re still probably a ways off from a decision, three 24/7 analysts have predicted Bradley to Kentucky. Branham, along with Jerry Meyer and Chris Fisher, all predicted Bradley to Kentucky back in January.
If that does occur, Kentucky immediately has one of the best backcourts in the country with Bradley and Skyy Clark.
