The Kentucky baseball team took down #5 Louisville on the road by a score of 11-7 last night in a huge win for the Wildcats.
The two rival squads didn’t play last year due to COVID-19, and last night was the first win for Kentucky at Louisville since 2013.
Coming off a rough weekend series at Mississippi State where the Wildcats were swept, the Cats bounced back in a big way against one of the top teams in college baseball.
The Wildcats moved to 19-7 on the season with the victory. The Wildcats begin a series on Friday against LSU at home.

. . . @RyRit47 just made a play only a handful of dudes on can make, saving two runs by ranging up the middle and throwing out one of college baseball's fastest players.#SCtop10 | @Mike_Rooney, approved? pic.twitter.com/zQJL3KFDkG
