Jamin Davis has seen his NFL Draft stock rise more and more over the past few weeks, going from a projected un-drafted prospect to a projected high first-round pick.

Mel Kiper last had Davis as the No. 14 overall prospect in the draft and Davis’ UK football Pro Day numbers back that up with a 4.37 40-yard dash time and an unreal 42 inch vertical jump with an 11-foot broad jump. Davis is an insane athlete.

Davis has garnered so much praise that he is now being compared to one of the best defensive players in the league, Darius Leonard, who was NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2018.

Here’s what NFL Draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah had to say about Davis:

“He looks so much like Darius Leonard when you study him… Legitimate Rookie of the Year-type ability,”

Davis the Kentucky Wildcats this season in tackles, with 102. He also added 1.5 sacks, three interceptions, a forced fumble, fumble recovery and a blocked kick.
