Tonight begins the NFL Draft and Kentucky is hoping to have one or even two players selected in the first round.
Jamin Davis and Kelvin Joseph are in the conversation to be selected on the draft’s opening night, although neither are a lock to hear their names called in the first 32 picks.
Most experts are pegging Davis to go in the latter half of the first round or the first few picks of the second round. Joseph is seen as mostly a second or third-rounder, but it’s not crazy to think a team could take a chance on him in the first.
If either are selected in the first round, it’ll be the first Kentucky first-round pick since Josh Allen.
I’m really hoping to see Davis get picked in the first round. It would be the culmination of an incredible story of a guy who wasn’t even projected to start last year until he was thrust into the lineup and had a breakout year.
This year’s NFL Draft will be more of a return to normal in comparison to last year’s unusual draft.
Here’s how you can watch the draft: Rounds: 1 Start time: 8 p.m. ET TV: ABC, ESPN, NFL Network Stream: fuboTV (try for free), NFL app, ESPN app
