John Calipari has had enough.
After watching his program suffer through a 9-16 campaign, Calipari is making major changes to his coaching staff heading into the 2021-22 season.
For all of the success that Kentucky has had in Calipari’s tenure, which has now spanned 12 seasons, he’s been unable to get back to the Final Four since 2015, and recruiting has taken a sizable hit during that time as well.
Anytime a coach loses almost twice as many games as he wins, there’s going to be major changes, especially when you’re talking about the best program in all of college basketball. Calipari knows changes had to be made to get this program back in the right direction, and I can assure you he’s making sure changes are made that improves his program.
What will they be? Who’s coming in? Who’s leaving?
