Our Kentucky Wildcats will have to go through an in-state university if they wish to head on to the Elite Eight of the Volleyball National Championships. Kentucky is slated to go against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers today for the right to advance and continue their postseason run.
Coming off an impressive sweep of UNLV in their opening round, Kentucky seems poised to be heavily favored against WKU. However, it’s the postseason, and in a win-or-go-home situation, anything can happen.
The Wildcats matchup with the Hilltoppers will begin at 10 pm ET and be aired on ESPN2. If you’re unable to watch, you can follow along for LIVE stats at NCAA.com.
The Wildcats have won their last four against the Hilltoppers. If Kentucky wins, they’ll advance to Monday’s Elite Eight for the chance at making a Final Four appearance.
