There are only a handful of uncommitted high school recruits who hold a scholarship offer from Kentucky.
Brandin Podziemski is one of them, and he’s reportedly making his college choice Tuesday, according to Tipton Edits. His final five schools include Kentucky, Illinois, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and Miami with the Fighting Illini favored.
2021 four-star Brandin Podziemski will announce his college decision tomorrow at 12pm CT, he tells me. https://t.co/ei7PfjZF1S

The 6-6, 195-pound guard plays on the AAU team associated with former Wildcat and current Miami Heat star Tyler Herro. High school-wise, Podziemski plays at St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy (WI) and is ranked 158th nationally by 247 Sports Composite, as well as the 34th-best shooting guard and fourth-best recruit from Wisconsin. He also holds additional offers from Kansas Kansas State, Arizona State, Marquette, DePaul and Boise State among others.
There’s been almost zero buzz with the Cats in this recruitment since the offer was made, while every Rivals FutureCast prediction has been in favor of Illinois, including a pick from Kentucky basketball analyst David Sisk.
Unless something changes, it looks like this talented guard isn’t coming to Lexington.
