Kentucky Wildcats point guard signee Nolan Hickman will be playing for a high school National Championship this week, and Kentucky fans can watch him in action Thursday night at 6:00 pm ET on ESPNU.
The 6-foot-3 playmaker is going to be competing for the starting point guard spot at Kentucky next season, but right now he is leading Wasatch Academy (Utah) in hopes of winning a high school title.
Hickman and Wasatch will be facing off with Arizona Compass Prep on Thursday. Arizona Compass Prep also has an interesting name on their team as former Creighton commit and top-30 recruit TyTy Washington, who is on Kentucky’s radar, plays for them.
The Hickman vs Washington matchup is one of the most anticipated of the entire tournament and is one that Kentucky fans will want to see.
If Hickman and Wasatch can defeat Arizona Compass Prep on Thursday, the team will advance to the semifinals and play at 4:30 pm ET Friday, and that game will air on ESPN2.
