Kentucky Wildcats should probably get familiar with the name Keyonte George, or at the very least, keep him on your radar for the class of 2022.
George is ranked as the No. 6 overall player in the class of 2022 and the No. 2 point guard in his class. George, from Lewisville (X), sat down with Rivals to discuss his upcoming recruitment and the schools that he is focused on.
George talked about four schools in particular. Those four being Texas Tech, Texas, Kansas, and Kentucky. Kentucky being the only school not in the Big 12. Texas Tech is seen as the favorite for the Texas native and currently has 100% of the Rivals FutureCasts trending towards the Red Raiders.
However, George did note that, with the emergence of the G-League and guys like Jalen Green, Daishen Nix, Jon Kuminga, and Isaiah Todd paving the way for current high schoolers, going pro is always an option.
