Former Kentucky Wildcat and now Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox has been on a tear lately, proving that he’s one of the top point guards in the NBA.
The Kings are currently riding a four-game winning streak and have won six of their last seven, in large part to the play of Fox.
Over the last four games, Fox has scored more than 30 points in each game while shooting no lower than 56.5 percent from the field. That includes a 44 points, 7 assists performance against the Golden State Warriors where Fox went 16-22 from the field.
As it stands, Fox is averaging 24.6 points per game this season, which ranks 16th in the league and is in the top 15 in assists with 7.3 per game.
The Kings, with Fox leading the charge, sit at 21-25 on the season. Sacramento remains in the playoff hunt, only 3 games behind Dallas for 8th in the Western Conference.
If Fox continues to play like this, the Kings could find themselves in the playoffs for the first time since 2006.
Regardless, it’s good to see the former Cat having a ton of success in the league.
