John Calipari is going to have to use the transfer market to fill out his roster for the 2021-22 season. Thankfully, he has a lot of potential targets.

You can add another name to the list of options, as Utah Utes star Timmy Allen will enter the transfer portal.

This past season, the Allen averaged 17.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.3 steals a game, including eight 20+ point performances. He was named First-Team All-PAC-12.

Oh, and Allen also dropped 25 points, nine boards and four assists on Kentucky in 2019, a game that saw the Utes win 69-66.

Allen was also one of just three players to average at least 17 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in the country this season. The other two also come from power conferences and they are Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State) and Ayo Dosunmu (Illinois).

The 6-6 wing is also great at getting to the free-throw line, as he finished led the PAC-12 in free-throw attempts for the 2019-20 season. He ranked third this past season.

Allen immediately becomes one of the top transfers in the country and will have a lot of teams reaching out for his services.

Who knows if Kentucky will be interested in trying to land Allen, but he is no doubt one of the best transfer options in the country and will tremendously improve the team he ends up on.
