John Calipari dropped a bombshell Wednesday when he revealed Terrence Clarke had returned to practice for the Kentucky, who begins SEC Tournament play Thursday vs. Mississippi State.

While Calipari wouldn’t commit to Clarke playing in Nashville, he certainly left the door open for the freshman guard to play log his first minutes since late December.

“The great thing is for us and for him (Clarke), one, first one on the floor, first one on the bus. He wants to do this for the team, he understands their game,” Calipari said of Clarke. “He may not play again. Maybe he does. Maybe he doesn’t. He wants to do it for the team.”

Well, Kentucky managed to add to the hype of a potential return by posting a video of the team practicing in Nashville, which included a brief look at Clarke.

Is this confirmation that Clarke will be available to play Thursday in a must-win game vs. the Bulldogs? We’ll find out soon enough.
