The Kentucky Wildcats women’s basketball team just picked up a major road win as regular-season play winds down.

Junior guard Rhyne Howard scored 27 points to carry the 19th-ranked Cats past No. 17 Georgia 62-58 on Thursday at Stegeman Coliseum.

Howard, who continues to move up in the Kentucky record books, now has 1,532 career points, ranking 10th all-time in scoring in program history. She needs just 24 more points to tie Sara Potts for ninth all-time.

Kentucky, who improves to 16-6 overall and 9-5 in SEC play, got 15 points from Chasity Patterson, while Tatyana Wyatt had 11 points and six boards.

Up next, Kentucky plays Sunday vs. Ole Miss in the regular-season finale at Memorial Coliseum. Tipoff is set for 12 pm ET on the SEC Network.

Here are some highlights from their huge win in Athens.
