The Kentucky Wildcats are reportedly among the flurry of programs that have recently reached out to 2023 four-star prospect Brandon Gardner.

Gardner, a 6-foot-7 forward from Columbia (SC), told Brian Snow of 247 Sports that Kentucky is among the schools he has heard from recently.

“Georgetown is talking to me a lot, North Carolina called, Kentucky called, Gardner told Snow. “Florida State has called, Maryland is calling more, and then I am hearing from South Carolina as well.”

Gardner is currently ranked as the 42nd overall prospect in the class of 2023 by 247 Sports. He also ranks ninth among power forwards and third in the state of South Carolina.

The athletic forward already holds several offers, including Illinois, Clemson, Wake Forest and Ole Miss among others. UK has not yet offered Gardner, as they appear to be just now starting to kick the tires on him at this time.

Gardner also has not yet received an offer from his hometown South Carolina Gamecocks, but Snow reports, “it is likely that the Gamecocks offer Gardner a scholarship the moment he is able to get on campus and meet with the coaches face-to-face.”
