Good afternoon, BBN!

Like the last couple of weeks we are going to look at which teams are NOT eliminated yet, since there are far more eliminated than uneliminated for an at-large berth at this point. For each conference that has an uneliminated team, listed are all the teams that are STILL ALIVE in their quest for one of the precious 36 at-large berths.

Let’s get to it.

AAC: Houston, Wichita State, SMU

ACC: Virginia, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Louisville, North Carolina

A-10: Richmond, VCU, Saint Louis

Big 12: Baylor, West Virginia, Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Kansas

Big East: Villanova, Creighton, Xavier, UConn

Big Ten: Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Purdue, Iowa, Rutgers, Indiana, Minnesota

Missouri Valley: Drake, Loyola Chicago

Mountain West: Utah State, Boise State, San Diego State

Ohio Valley: Belmont

Pac-12: UCLA, USC, Colorado

SEC: Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, and Florida

West Coast: Gonzaga, BYU

Teams Eliminated Since Last Week: 5

I tossed Memphis out; I’m just not seeing it happen for the 12-6 Tigers. Here a big one, though, Syracuse got tossed out a window by Duke and had their bubble soundly popped.

I warned Seton Hall last week, so adios to them. Oregon’s also gone.

Everyone else is still alive and getting ready for conference tournaments, which begin Monday (yay!). Several teams are only a loss or two away from being eliminated next time around, so they better watch out and get some Ws (I’m looking at you, Indiana, Richmond, Saint Louis, and SMU).

Teams Remaining: 47

That’s all for this week! Only 19 more days until Selection Sunday! I’m so excited for the bracket reveal. Next week or so we’ll eliminate some more teams. Until then, go ‘Cats!
