If you were up last night, you might have seen a video surface of Louisville Cardinals head coach Chris Mack and former Cards football player Eric Wood celebrating their victory over the Kentucky Wildcats back in December.
Welcome to the rivalry, @CoachChrisMack. pic.twitter.com/bJy6ATj8sx

To sum the video up, Mack and Wood basically say that Calipari and Kentucky are nothing without former UK assistant Kenny Payne, now with the Knicks. Wood stated that Kentucky was now “0-1” against Louisville without Payne, which is obviously a fact.
However, Big Blue Nation took it and ran with it. Some people loving it, some people finding it classless on Mack’s behalf. I personally loved it. I want to hate Louisville again, so give me a reason.
Rick Bozich of WDRB spoke with Payne about the video, who said Eric Wood meant it as a joke and that he was just playing around with Payne.
“Eric is a friend of mine and he was just having fun. He and Chris were happy that Louisville won the game (against UK on Dec. 26). Eric was just teasing me.”
Between the video of Chris Mack calling out Calipari before the season started and now this one, Mack is certainly making sure that the UK-UofL rivalry gets re-ignited soon.
