Here we go again as the Kentucky Wildcats and Tennessee Volunteers clash in yet another important matchup. Kentucky is trying to inch their way up the SEC standings, and the Vols are trying to maintain their top-four seed.
We all know what happened the last time these two met up. In a season of seeing this team fall apart at the end, you could argue that the Kentucky’s collapse against Tennessee was the worst.
The Cats had an eight-point lead at halftime, and it even got to 10 with 12 minutes left in the game.
Then, a flip switched.
Tennessee finished the game outscoring UK 34-13 in Lexington, leaving fans and media stunned.
The rematch is here, and something tells me that this is going to be a different story. Rick Barnes has now won four out of the last five matchups with John Calipari, something Cal cannot stand.
That, along with the fact that the Cats having won two straight with revenge on their mind, could mean it’s going to be a much closer game at the end than it was in the last game.
Will the Cats come away with the win? What do you think? Let us know in the poll and comment below!
