On January 10th, Oscar Tshiebwe announced his commitment to the Kentucky Wildcats.
However, the mid-season transfer process led to Tshiebwe not logging a single practice with his new teammates until now.
Late Monday night, the men’s basketball Twitter account posted what’s seemingly Tshiebwe’s first practice with the Cats. He’s now begun his role as a strong practice body that could help improve the play of Olivier Sarr and other Kentucky bigs.
“Now I told him, your job will be, ‘how do I help these guys?’” Calipari said after Tshiebwe committed to the Cats. “Maybe with him, I take five guys and those five are playing the top seven or eight guys and we start scrimmaging that way. Even though it’s late in the season, it something I’ve thought about when we get him here.”
Here’s a look at Tshiebwe in action with his new teammates.
