Nolan Hickman showed out once again this past weekend at the Montverde Invitational.

In a tournament featuring top-tier programs from across the country, including Jalen Duren and Montverde, Kennedy Chandler and Sunrise Christian, Oak Hill Academy, and La Lumiere School, Hickman made a case of being one of the best players at the tournament.

Here is a quick clip of him against Oak Hill.

With Wasatch Academy wrapping up their games Sunday against host school Montverde Academy, Hickman finished with his best game of the weekend. He posted 23 points on 10/22 shooting, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

For the weekend Wasatch Academy ended up with a 3-3 record, with Hickman averaging 17.2 PPG, 5.3 APG, 3.5 RPG, and 2.0 SPG. He also had an impressive shooting split of 45/38/92. All of which should be music to fans ears.

By now I’m sure you are familiar with Hickman and the type of style he will be bringing to Lexington next season. Well he just keeps getting better.

Known as a great facilitator on all three levels of the floor, he continues to impress with his growth in his shot creating ability. Numerous times over the weekend when Wasatch needed a bucket Hickman went and got one.

Whether it be beyond the arch and creating space with a step-back or getting both feet deep in the paint and finishing at the rim, he showed Big Blue Nation why they should be excited to see him at Rupp Arena in the near future.

For a guy who was practically unknown to fans a year ago, he seems poised to take Lexington by storm.
