UPDATE

Adem Bona has officially committed to the UCLA Bruins. Read more about it here.

At 10:30 pm ET today, Kentucky Wildcats recruit Adem Bona is expected to announce his commitment to a program.

Bona, the 19th-ranked prospect in the Class of 2022, reportedly has his sights set on either UCLA or the University of Kentucky. Bona stands 6-foot-9, 225 pounds and is the fifth-ranked center in his class. All four expert picks on 247 Sports during the month of October have leaned towards UCLA.

National recruiting analyst Rob Cassidy also picked UCLA to edge out Kentucky. UCLA is closer to “home” for Bona and has just the program history to match recent excellence, as the Bruins appeared in last year’s championship game. UCLA is currently ranked No. 2 in the Associated Press pre-season top 25 rankings.

What’s your prediction for Bona? Will the top-20 recruit stay out west or commit to the eastern time zone to play for the Kentucky Wildcats? We should find out later today.
