Coming off of his official visit last weekend, the Kentucky Wildcats are now picking up steam to land 2023 point guard Robert Dillingham.
Dillingham officially earned his scholarship offer to Kentucky on his visit, as is custom with John Calipari. Dillingham took in the blue-white game with fellow 2023 5-star JJ Taylor.
After the visit, Kentucky picked up three predictions to land Dillingham, all three from notable recruiting insiders. Both Jerry Meyer and Travis Branham of 247 Sports logged a crystal ball prediction for Dillingham to Kentucky.
Meanwhile, Travis Graf of Rivals switched his prediction from Memphis to Kentucky for the 5-star point guard.
Hailing from Charlotte (NC), Dillingham was long-seen as a North Carolina lean, but just recently, the smoke has picked up in the Wildcats’ favor, similar to the Chris Livingston recruitment.
Dillingham also is going to be a part of Kanye West’s new prep school, Donda Academy out in California. Recently joining Dillingham in California? JJ Taylor, whom he took his official visit to Kentucky with, and both are now seen as Kentucky leans.
Dillingham is seen to be down to five schools: Kentucky (Oct. 23 visit), LSU (Oct. 15 visit), Memphis (Sept. 17 visit), North Carolina State (Oct. 29 visit), and Auburn, whom he has yet to visit.
With Dillingham seen as a Kentucky-lean now, the 2023 recruiting class is shaping up to be an absolutely monster class for the Kentucky Wildcats and John Calipari.
Currently, Kentucky is seen as the favorites for DJ Wagner, Robert Dillingham, JJ Taylor, Reed Shepherd, and Mookie Cook (who recently scored a UK offer).
