Twitter celebrates Kentucky whipping LSU

The Cats roll past LSU to set up a monster clash with Georgia.

No, you don’t need any glasses or contacts. The Kentucky Wildcats stomped a mudhole in the LSU Tigers and walked it dry on national television. In football.

Kentucky led at one point 35-7.

It was about as impressive of a performance I have ever witnessed a UK football team have. Will Levis played a phenomenal game, totaling five touchdowns and playing arguably his best overall game in his short time as UK quarterback.

The defense, while they let up late in the fourth quarter, played another fantastic game aside from a few big plays going LSU’s way.

Kentucky starts the season 6-0 for the first time since 1950 and is already bowl eligible at the midway point of the season.

Kentucky travels to Georgia next week for what is sure to be a battle for the SEC East and a presumable trip to Atlanta for the SEC Championship.

With a dominant win over an SEC power, Kentucky could be knocking on the door of the top-10, sitting up another top-10 showdown with the Dawgs.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to the LSU beatdown:
