In the midst of what has been a jam-packed week of football content, one might have missed that this week was the start of official practice for the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.
After the worst season in over 100 years for the program, John Calipari had to switch things up to get the swagger back this program had during his early years in Lexington. One of those ways was by the addition of Ron “Chin” Coleman.
This week, the basketball team released a video with Chin mic’d up to show some of that new energy he brings to the team.

If you look closely in the video, you can also see that CJ Fredrick and Jacob Toppin have returned to practice with just a month until their matchup with Duke.
Fredrick is coming off of minor surgery that to help fix a problem he has had over the last few seasons. Toppin missed all of September with a minor shoulder injury but seems to be back to full health as well.

Basketball season is quickly approaching, folks. With plenty of questions still surrounding this team, we are now only a week away from Big Blue Madness, where we will get some of those questions answered.
